About the Weathervane Foundation
The Weathervane Foundation, Inc., a Texas Non-Profit Corporation,
was founded in 2004 by Fran Padgett, to aid in the support and funding
of breast cancer research.
Although privately supporting and contributing to worthwhile causes
throughout her life, after being diagnosed with breast cancer in
2001, Fran began a new crusade - a mission to provide funding for
research into the cause and cure for breast cancer. An artist and
author, Fran began donating a portion of all sales to breast cancer
causes, and in 2004 founded The Weathervane Foundation to facilitate
and direct donations toward specific breast cancer research.
The Weathervane Foundation is a member of the Texas Non Profits
Organization and the Association of Professional Fundraisers.
