Come experience the artistry and passion of modern dance as Lineage Dance performs: EXPRESSIONS: Embracing the Qualities of Life: Beauty, Courage and Beyond on January 31, 2009 at Shirley Acres in Houston, TX.
Seating will be limited to approximately 50 people for this special show in the Pavilion at Shirley Acres. See the dancers up close, as they interpret human emotions. In between dances, one or more live artists sketch some of the qualities of life, such as "fear," "beauty," "courage" or "truth." This original choreography is based on a book called "The Book of Qualities" by San Francisco area author J. Ruth Gendler, and is appropriate for children as well as adults. Complementing this interpretation will be the art of Fran Padgett, both on display and for sale. All proceeds will benefit the work of The Weathervane Foundation.
